Jeff was hired as the Teen Collective’s first Director in December 2016. Born and raised in Ohio, he attended Miami University in Oxford where he studied Finance and Interactive Media. Since moving to the Cincinnati area to work with the Jewish community in 2012, he has led several key initiatives pertaining to emerging adult engagement, professional development, community organizing and fundraising. His focus on continued education has made Jeff an invaluable asset in areas such as experiential education, program design and the post millennial engagement.
Jeff’s passion for community thinking, collaboration, Jewish identity and innovation drive him every day. He also enjoys spending time with his family, music, hiking and cooking.
Ruthie joins our team as the Coordinator with nearly a decade of experience working with children and teenagers. Ruthie grew up in Cincinnati, where she attended Sycamore Schools and Camp Livingston. Ruthie received her BA in Fine Arts from the College of DAAP at the University of Cincinnati, spent 12 months living in Israel, studying at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. She has studied Art Education, and received a Certificate in Jewish Education Specializing in Adolescents and Emerging Adults from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion-Cincinnati.
Ruthie enjoys adding creative approaches to all things Teen Collective and is passionate about building relationships with teens and professionals in our community. In her free time, Ruthie loves learning, cooking, being outside and spending time with her friends, family and puppy, Zoe.
